The smooth EVO Fitness elliptical is sold through fitness specialty stores. Although a relatively new brand, their products having been receiving accolades. Their Smooth Evo Xcite Elliptical Trainer received the "Best Buy" award for the best folding trainer.
They currently only manufacturer a few ellipticals, their models tend to be quality built and they hold up well. In particular the EVO XCITE is warranted for both residential use and light commercial. Most commercial grade ellipticals start at around $3,000, so at $2,000 you are getting an elliptical that is built for some strenuous use.
The EVO XCITE elliptical has a striking design unlike anything else on the market. This crosstrainer has been out for several years and appears to be holding up with in both homes and commercial facilities.

It comes with a twin cast aluminium flywheel that have been precision balanced to give it a very smooth elliptical motion. The service record has been good and it’s durability and stability is rated good.One of it’s great features is the heart rate control grips which have been placed on the handlebars which are movable.
