Choosing a Treadmill

When looking at guidelines for purchasing fitness equipment for your home, an Image 15.0 treadmill leaves little to be desired. Although it is low-cost at $390, and has a 2.5 horse powered motor, it just does not have much else to impress someone serious about getting the most for his or her money. The Image 15.0 treadmill has low-quality parts, making it less resistant to frequent maintenance. Eventually, you will have spent more money replacing parts to have paid for the treadmill many times over. According to tips for purchasing a treadmill, a quality one will most likely cost you $1,000 or more. But that does not necessarily mean that you will not be able to find deals on brands and models that are in that price range. It is always possible to find something $200 cheaper on sale, especially if you go to a fitness resale shop, like Play It Again Sports.

Other things you will need to look for in any treadmill you consider are a sturdy frame, the equipment’s comfort and ease of use, warranties, safety factors, the control panel’s options and available workout programs included, a low-maintenance deck, and the presence of a professional support staff to be available to you in the event you need technical assistance.
In talking with a salesperson in-store, do not feel pressured to choose a particular model if you are not thoroughly impressed with it in any way. Avoid this by researching models online or from catalogues ahead of time, and shop around to see where the best prices are. Once you do that, then you can test-drive them, to get a feel for what works best for you, and go from there.
