The Horizon Fitness Club Series Treadmills

Horizon Fitness is known for superior quality and innovative technological features on their treadmills, backed by impressive warranties. However, the Horizon Fitness Club Series Cst3 treadmill, and the Cst4 and Cst5 HR models seem to not be as popular as the rest of their line of products. They are available primarily at Dick’s Sporting Goods for around $800-$1200, but you can also find them through online retailers, fitness resale shops, or perhaps even eBay.

The Horizon Fitness Club Series Cst3 treadmill is the basic model out of the three, only able to reach up to 10 mph and 10% incline, a maximum user weight allowed of 275 lbs, and a 2.0 continuous horse powered motor. Still, it is capable of walking, jogging, and running modes, making it a competitive model when compared with all the other brands out there with a 1.0 or 1.5 motor. The Cst4 and Cst5 HR can reach 12 mph and a 12% incline, maximum user weights allowed of 300 lbs. and 325 lbs., respectively, and a 2.5 horse powered motor. All three models can be easily folded for storage, they have an air cell cushioning shock system, are equipped with the innovative technology such as a SMARTboard electronic console and a COMFORTzone belt and deck, and there are multiple pre-programmed workouts from which to choose.

When compared to other brands available, the Horizon Fitness Club Series is fairly competitive, but surpassed by Weslo, Image, ProForm, Landice, Trimline, and Reebok, to name a few. So before you purchase a treadmill of any kind, do take the time to highlight the features you want from one, and research your options to find the best buy for your money.
