Jumping on trampolines is one of the most enjoyable activities for kids. This is because the trampoline gives youngsters that extra momentum to do all kinds of acrobatics, flips, turns, bounces and the like that they could not do otherwise. As a result, jumping on trampolines is a favourite pastime of kids. Many children have trampolines and are very skilled at various
manoeuvres and understand the rules of jumping on the trampoline. However, there are many other children who do not know the safety rules and must first learn these before jumping. While an exciting activity, trampolines can be dangerous if not used properly.

For instance, very small children should not be allowed to jump on the trampoline without being watched by an adult. A fall could cause a serious injury in a very small child. For older children, it is best if only one to three children jump on the trampoline simultaneously. This is because children can fall into each other causing all kinds of injuries which can easily be avoided if the trampoline is not crowded. Additionally, if acrobatic manoeuvres are going to be performed there should only be one child on the trampoline at one time. This is a very important rule and should be followed at all times. If not, one child might perform a flip and lands on another’s head, or another could be bounced off the trampoline onto the ground and experiences a serious injury. Considering these situations, caution should always be taken and rules should always be followed.
