The octagon trampoline is also becoming more popular, and there is a tremendous increase in the sale of them because some safety critics are determining that they are safer than a round trampoline. The secret is in the springs which apparently are much stronger due to less stress placed upon the octagonal shaped trampoline.

Trampolines are an easy and fun way to get in shape. It is an activity that the whole family will enjoy and benefit from. When using a trampoline you are using all of the muscles in your body. Your heart and lungs are also getting a workout.

With the trampoline being such a popular activity it is important to also understand the safety risks involved. Many people get injured each year on a trampoline. The key to avoiding this is prevention. A safety enclosure is highly recommended. It will prevent the users from falling off of the trampoline. Purchase a well built net, one that is durable allowing maximum stability. Establish ground rules, such as allowing only one person at a time on the trampoline. Most importantly, adult supervision should be available at all times. There are no exceptions to this.

An octagonal trampoline would be a wonderful addition to your backyard. While keeping active kids strong and healthy they will also have an extremely large dose of fun. Keeping the safety rules in mind will make it a much more pleasurable activity.
