Many treadmill manufacturers save their best work for the club treadmills or heavy-duty models, and the quality of the at-home or light-duty models suffers. With the Landice L7 Treadmill, Landice has managed to produce a treadmill with the power and durability of a club model, but one that wears a price tag that homebuyers can relate to.

How has Landice made the Landice L7 Treadmill a leader in light-duty treadmills? It’s simple. Instead of focusing on one standard for club treadmills and one for home treadmills, Landice set the bar high when the company began making treadmills in 1967, and used this as a benchmark for all its treadmills.

This is seen in the fact there is little difference in the design and use of parts between Landice’s commercial models and home models. All of the Landice models, from the L7 to the L9, heavy-duty or not, are equipped with a 3 horse power, continuous duty motor, leaving no chance of overheating no matter the usage.

Both the L7 light-duty and the heavy-duty treadmills offer the VFX shock absorption system, keeping knee and hip joints in shape, as well as your heart and lungs. The four-ply treadbelt is standard issue, and both models can sustain a user weight of 400 pounds. Another weight measure that indicates the high standard given to all Landice treadmills is that both L7 models weigh in at 300 pounds. While this is more than other home models, it’s the weight of quality parts such as two 1/2" diameter, 14-pound steel rollers.
